5OGS creates and inspires by innovating and doing!
As the human population continues to grow, the demand for resources such as food, energy, and minerals also increases. This puts pressure on the world's oceans and their ecosystems, which are already under threat from pollution, overfishing, and climate change. Environmental education, habitat mapping, and protection strategies are essential to ensuring the sustainable management of these resources. Habitat mapping allows for the identification and protection of key areas, such as coral reefs and sea grass beds, which support a diverse range of marine life. Environmental education programs raise awareness of the importance of these ecosystems and the actions that can be taken to protect them. By implementing sustainable resource management strategies, 5OGS and its partners plan to innovate to ensure that future generations will have access to the resources provided by the ocean.

The United States is Lacking Globally in Exploration. The most advanced countries that are exploring are China, Japan and Republic of Korea. 14 countries increased their average budget (2013-2017), with the Russian Federation recording the highest annual growth (over 10%), followed by the United Kingdom and Bulgaria.
The Need For Ocean Discovery
The ocean is a vast and mysterious place, covering over 70% of the Earth’s surface. Despite this, less than 5% of the ocean has been explored, leaving much of its secrets and life forms unknown. One important aspect to understanding the ocean is to examine it in terms of light and food supply. The surface layer of the ocean, known as the epipelagic zone, is the portion that is most familiar to us and is amply lit by the sun. This zone, though small in volume, contains much of the ocean’s life and is home to phytoplankton, which produce half of the world’s oxygen.
Our company, 5OGS, is committed to leading the way in advocating for ocean exploration. We are partnering with respected organizations such as the Explorers Club and targeting the youth to make exploration exciting and cool. Together, we hope to uncover the secrets of the ocean and contribute to a better understanding of the ocean’s ecosystem.
HUMANITARIAN
94% Of The World's Wildlife Live In The FIVE Main Ocean Basins (UNESCO, 2021)
The oceans provide a wide range of resources that are essential for the survival of human populations, including food, medicine, and energy. However, the depletion of these resources can have devastating consequences for the people who depend on them. Humanitarian aid organizations play an important role in providing support to communities affected by the loss of these resources. They also play an important role in identifying and addressing the root causes of resource depletion, such as overfishing and pollution. By understanding the cost of resource depletion, aid organizations can optimize their delivery of assistance and support to key areas of operation. 5OGS is spearheading the way by implementing programs that can include providing education and training programs to help communities develop sustainable resource management practices, as well as providing necessary resources and infrastructure to support these efforts.
